Monarch High School standout wide receiver Sanjay Fisher has announced his commitment to play college football at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
“It feels great,” Fisher said. “Charlotte really felt like home on my visit. The staff, the university and the brotherhood that’s being built. They are so authentic. They really make you feel at home.”
Fisher chose Charlotte after receiving more than 20 Division I scholarship offers. He began his football career at Margate Middle School and also played for the Coral Springs Chargers before joining Monarch as a freshman.
Since arriving at Monarch, Fisher has helped the Knights capture three consecutive district championships, a fourth straight for the team, while developing into one of the top receivers in South Florida.
During the 2025 season, he recorded 26 receptions for 429 yards and three touchdowns.
