Centennial Park {City of Margate}
Margate residents will see a redeveloped Centennial Park.
The Centennial Park project includes a new shaded playground, a walking trail, picnic tables, benches, resurfaced tennis and pickleball courts, and parking lot and pathway lighting, according to Lisa Huriash, public information officer.
A start date for construction has not been set, but the project is in the final stage of design and will then go to permitting. The total cost of the project will be $2,348,533, with the largest expense being the playground with shade at $633,000, according to Huriash.
Centennial Park is located at 7800 Royal Palm Boulevard.
