Clear Space by Disposing Your Hazardous Waste

By: David Russell

Securely dispose of sensitive documents, shred documents in bulk, and declutter old electronics taking space and collecting dust.

The Department of Environmental & Engineering Services will be hosting a free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Disposal drive on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oriole Park at 7055 N.W. 1st Street in Margate.

Participants must show proof of Margate residency, and all items to be disposed of or shredded must be located in the hatch, trunk, or bed of the vehicle. No items will be removed from the cabin of a car, and attendees are asked to remain inside.

For more information, contact the City of Margate’s Department of Environmental & Engineering Services at (954) 972-0828.
