An accused gunman was arrested for allegedly shooting a man at a Margate shopping plaza Friday, police said.
Denard Scott, 30, was charged in connection with the shooting, which happened around 5 p.m. at the plaza in the 6500 block of West Atlantic Boulevard.
Margate Police on Saturday said they believed the victim was in stable condition at an area hospital. His name and age were not made public.
Police said they were investigating the shooting and trying to determine what led to the crime.
