Sultane Cuisine and Bakery recently celebrated a grand opening at the Ace Plaza in Margate.
Shirley Mars, the owner, lives in Margate and loves the city. “This is a great place to have a bakery, and I want to serve the residents of the community. We have a multicultural kitchen and serve American favorites, Jamaican delights, and Haitian traditions,” she said.
Sultane serves Haitian favorites like tassot turkey and griot, Jamaican dishes such as jerk chicken, curry chicken, and stew fish, and American classics including chicken wings, fries, and coleslaw. The bakery offers fresh patties, pate kode, and daily baked round and long bread, according to Mars.
Sultane is located at 5885 Margate Boulevard. Business hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
