East Coffee Crepes and Bakery is now open to serve breakfast and lunch in Margate.
The new restaurant opened on Thursday and offers a comfortable place to meet a friend for lunch, get a coffee with a croissant, or stop for a treat in the early afternoon. It offers crepes, smoothies, grilled chicken sandwiches, pastries and salads.
Andrea Nava and Lidia Ortiz, sisters-in-law, decided to open a business and pursue the American dream of building a company.
“We love the people of Margate, and we decided this would be a good location. We will offer good food and coffee and have a successful business,” said Lidia.
East Coffee is located at 6209 Margate Boulevard in the Ace Plaza across the street from city hall.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is closed on Sunday.
