Doc Reno's 8th Annual Bacon, Beer & BBQ Fest: Margate's BBQ Bash Returns

More family fun is coming to Margate.

Doc Reno’s 8th Annual Bacon, Beer & BBQ Fest will take place on Sunday, August 31, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex.

Those who come will enjoy a free, family-oriented event including children’s activities, artisan vendors, a silent auction, and food trucks. The Reaxtion Band, Mixed Tape, Hotmess, and School of Rock will provide live music.

Pets are welcome, and parking is free. The Sports Complex is a covered venue located at 1695 Banks Road.

Local restaurants and food trucks will compete for the title of “Best Bacon” and “Best BBQ” in South Florida.

The proceeds will benefit the My Family Matters Foundation, which supports families with children battling cancer, according to Doc Reno’s website.
