The Cub Scouts of Pack 179 are firing up the smoker one last time for a worthy cause.
On Sunday, April 13, the community is invited to enjoy a delicious lunch and support a group of dedicated young Scouts during their final fundraiser of the season.
Hosted at The American Legion Post 157 in Margate, the event runs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and promises a hearty smoked brisket lunch served with coleslaw and a bag of chips — all for just $8.
More than just a tasty meal, this fundraiser directly benefits each participating Scout. With 100% of the proceeds going toward re-registration fees, it’s an opportunity for the community to help ensure these future leaders can continue their journey in Scouting.
Residents of Margate, Tamarac, Coral Springs, and neighboring areas are welcome to attend and show their support.
The American Legion Post 157 is located at 1791 Mears Parkway, Margate, FL 33063.
