Players ages 18 and older with all levels of bowling experience are welcome to the new Special Needs Bowling League of Coconut Creek.
The registration starts on July 18 and will be open until all 30 spots for the league are filled. Participants must meet certain criteria and have independent bathroom skills, the ability to follow basic instructions, and participate in a group structure. Players must provide assistance for supervision if they cannot meet all criteria.
The first ten-week session runs on Mondays from August 22 through October 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at AMF Margate Lanes. The cost is $90 for Coconut Creek residents and $110 for non-residents. The city provides all members with a league shirt.
Register online or in-person at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. Participants or guardians must have a WebTrac account before registering online.
