By: David Russell
Get ready to make a splash. From now through March 26, the Calypso Cove water park is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm for spring break.
Admission is $6 for residents five and over, $12 for non-residents, kids ages 2 to four are $2, or $5 for non-residents, while admission is free for children two and under.
“Great for the small kids, but also has a nice size pool for adults. Two water slides for bigger kids and a small one in the kiddie section. Prices are really good.” said Angie, a reviewer on tripadvisor.com.
Beyond the water park, the facility also provides swimming lessons and hosts a competitive swim program, the Margate Motion Swim team.
Calypso Cove’s standard hours are weekends from 10 am until 5 pm.
The Calypso Cove Aquatic Facility is located at 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard Margate, FL 33063. For more information, call the office at (954) 974-4566.
