Broward County Animal Care will host a free Pet Wellness Clinic on Friday, May 23, offering vital pet services to residents at no cost.
The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the agency’s satellite facility at 3100 N.W. 19th Terrace in Pompano Beach.
Residents can receive free rabies vaccinations, free microchipping, and affordable pet registration on-site. While pre-registration is available online at bit.ly/BrowardPetClinics, all services will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration guarantees service, but not a specific appointment time.
“This clinic is part of our ongoing commitment to making pet health services accessible and affordable to all Broward County residents,” said Doug Brightwell, Director of Broward County Animal Care. “We’re here to serve our community and help ensure pets stay safe, healthy, and protected.”
During the event, pet licensing will be offered for $25 for already microchipped pets and $55 for those without microchips. Dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers. Only card payments will be accepted—no cash.
Broward County Animal Care, located in Fort Lauderdale, provides adoption, sheltering, and animal welfare services. Residents can contact the agency at 954-357-9567 for more information about the clinic or email petcareclinic@broward.org.
