Margate residents who want a relaxing coffee and a treat are stopping at East Coffee Crepes and Bakery.
The shop opened on February 8 and has attracted customers who like the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The customers love crepes, croissants, and coffee. Other items include empanadas, waffles, salads, rice bowls, and tacos. According to Lidia Ortiz, who owns the shop with her partner and sister-in-law, Andrea Nava, people can enjoy smoothies and iced coffee on a hot day.
Individuals and families can get breakfast or lunch. Nava and Ortiz are friendly and often chat with customers.
“We love the people of Margate, and we are glad to be here,” said Ortiz. “Eventually, we would like to expand.”
East Coffee is located at 6209 Margate Boulevard in the Ace Hardware Plaza and is open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
