The City of Margate Sounds at Sundown event returns on Saturday, March 2.
Held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex at 1695 Banks Rd, the event is presented by the Margate Community Redevelopment, which has planned an evening of live music performances and food truck offerings, all set under the evening sky.
The headliner is the Last Flight Out Big Band, an 18-piece jazz band from Fort Lauderdale best known for playing a range of musical styles from the traditional big band hits of Count Basie and Frank Sinatra to the jazz of Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, and others.
The event is open to the public, with free admission and parking.
Event-goers are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs to create a cozy spot on the lawn, ensuring a comfortable experience as they dine and enjoy the show.
For event information, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 954-972-6458.
