Schools Start Monday So Drive Carefully

Summer vacation has come and gone as Broward County Schools start on Monday, August 19. Soon the days of sleeping late and relaxing by the pool will come to an end….at least for my children.

Well, no one ever said my fun had to end.

This is just a reminder to everyone to be patient when our school busses are loading and unloading each day and to drive slowly when children are walking to and from our bus stops.

Back in the inception of the Woodlands Country Club, families with children were not allowed reside in the community, except in Section two.  That was known as the “family section.”  Now we have families living all over the community and the Woodlands has changed from being primarily a retirement community to a a neighborhood that welcomes everyone.
