Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff’s Office traffic homicide investigators are working to determine what caused a 42-year-old North Lauderdale man to crash his motorcycle into a guard rail early Sunday morning.
Kevin Scott Beck died at the crash scene on West McNab Road. THI investigators have determined he was heading westbound at 4:24 a.m. on his 1985 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he hit a guard rail. The bike travelled for hundreds of feet and finally came to rest in a grassy ditch near the exit ramp onto the Boulevard of Champions.
North Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced Beck dead. Anyone who witnessed the crash can contact BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit at (954) 321-4840 or report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
