Tristan Gabriel Schake {BSO}
A Margate man has been arrested after police say he engaged in sexually explicit communications with two teenage boys and offered them money in exchange for sexual acts and pornographic images.
According to Margate Police Department arrest records, Tristan Gabriel Schake, 27, was taken into custody at his home on the 2100 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue on September 4, following an investigation stemming from incidents that date back to November 2024, when Schake allegedly approached one of the victims at Kaye Stevens Park and later began sending text messages describing sexual acts.
Police reports state that Schake identified himself as 25 years old, despite knowing the boy was only 13. The messages included explicit requests, offers of money for sexual favors, and the transmission of pornographic images
Court documents detail that the boy’s father discovered the messages a month later, including a photo of what appeared to be an adult male’s genitals. The investigation later revealed a second victim, a 14-year-old boy, who also received explicit messages and offers of money from Schake.
Both boys admitted to sending nude images they had found online in response to his repeated requests.
Detectives obtained a search warrant and seized Schake’s cell phone in June 2025. A forensic review of the device allegedly confirmed communication with both minors.
Schake was booked into the Broward County Main Jail on September 4. He was later released after posting $40,000 bond.
The case remains under investigation to reveal if there are any additional victims.
