The City Margate will hold a special Memorial Day Ceremony to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to the nation.
Held on Monday, May 27 at 9:00 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 7044 NW 1st St. The event is “To honor our fallen heroes,” said Maria Fallon, the city’s communications and marketing manager. “We have a lot of residents who are former military and will be attending.”
Fallon says a majority of the city commissioners will also be in attendance. “Every year, we have a nice Memorial Day service,” she says.
The event is free and open to the public, and all community members are invited to attend. For more information, visit the city’s Parks and Recreation Department or call 954-972-6458.
