Margate Police {Aiden Palmer}
The Margate Police Department responded to various incidents and made multiple arrests between April 21 and April 27, 2026.
Incidents
Fraud / Identity Theft
Fraud cases were reported throughout the week, including incidents on Southwest 2nd Street and Southwest 6th Court with reported losses totaling approximately $500 and $428.
Theft / Retail Theft
A juvenile was reported as the victim of retail theft at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. with an estimated loss of $173.
Additional theft incidents were reported across the city, including Crestwood Terrace and other locations.
Auto Theft
A vehicle theft was reported on Southwest 56th Terrace during the early morning hours of April 27.
Aggravated Assault / Battery
An aggravated assault was reported on Northwest 78th Avenue.
Multiple battery incidents were reported across the city, including locations on State Road 7 and Northwest 1st Court.
Weapons Violations
A suspect was arrested for possession of a weapon on school property at Banks Road.
Another arrest involved possession of a weapon with intent to kill following an aggravated assault investigation.
Driving Under the Influence / Alcohol Offenses
Several DUI arrests were made, including one on Copans Road and another involving a second offense.
Criminal Mischief
Incidents of criminal mischief were reported, including damage at Holiday Springs Boulevard and other locations.
Domestic Disturbances
Numerous domestic disturbance calls were reported citywide, with no injuries reported in most cases.
Suspicious Incidents
Police responded to several suspicious incident calls, including one resulting in a reported loss of $1,400.

Schneider, Victor (M, 18) – Fraud/impersonation (false ID).
Phillips, Tedarius (M, 18) – Grand theft under $750.
Torres, Francisca (W, 34) – Moving traffic violation; operating motor vehicle with no valid license.
Williams, Jeremiah (M, 28) – Arrest on warrant.
Youte, Larry (M, 18) – Arrest on warrant.
Moreno, Douglas (M, 43) – DUI (alcohol or drugs).
Stafford, Chase (M, 19) – Trespassing.
Andrews, Alexis (F, 24) – Battery/domestic violence.
Robinson, Nia (F, 27) – Possession of weapon on school property.
Ellison, Preston (M, 35) – Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Richardson, Shandacia (F, 29) – Disorderly conduct.
Mohammed, Nickel (M, 29) – Criminal mischief/damage.
Andrews, Elliot (M, 29) – Weapon offense (missile into dwelling/vehicle).
Reyes, Victoria (F, 24) – Domestic battery.
Daniels, Derrick (M, 60) – Petit theft.
Karimifar, Fati (W, 40) – Vehicle theft.
Singh, Yogesh (M, 54) – DUI.
Joseph, Alan (M, 56) – Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Gayle, Britney (F, 27) – Domestic battery.
Barrett, Beth (F, 63) – Domestic battery.
Rick, Ryan (M, 31) – Driving with a suspended license (habitual offender).
Grant, Candy (B, 40) – DUI (second offense).
Fernandez, Amber (F, 30) – Violation of injunction (domestic violence).
