
Margate Police {Aiden Palmer}
The Margate Police Department responded to various incidents and made multiple arrests between November 25 and December 1, 2025.
INCIDENTS
Criminal Mischief – KFC, 2446 N. SR 7
Around 11:20 a.m., an unidentified female became irate over the amount of food she received and threw three boxes and a cash register to the floor, damaging the monitor. Estimated damage: $200. She fled in an unknown vehicle with an unidentified male.
Residential Burglary – NW 6th Ct
A former resident who had been evicted broke a side window to gain entry. Police found him hiding in a locked bedroom. He was transported to the hospital for a dog bite before being turned over to BSO.
Theft – Marshalls, 5461 W. Atlantic Blvd
Travarian Fields was observed selecting merchandise and leaving without paying. Total value: $359.88. Fields fled on a bicycle but was later located and positively identified.
Commercial Burglary – 777 S. SR 7
Between 12:10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Nov. 27, a construction fence was found unsecured and the interior fence cut. It is unknown if anything was taken. The property manager was notified.
Shoplifting – Dollar General, 700 S. SR 7
A white female, Sue Fullman, concealed $105.96 in merchandise with intent to deprive the business. She was issued an NTA.
Theft – Colonial Park, 1320 Banks Rd
A turquoise Magna Beach Cruiser bicycle valued at $150 was stolen. Victim desires prosecution.
Criminal Mischief – Burger King, 2990 N. SR 7
A male entered the business and threw a rock toward the cashier, damaging the frying station. The cashier was not struck. BK desires prosecution. The suspect fled.
Theft – 1829 Mears Pkwy
A dark green 2023 AMPI trailer valued at $20,000 was stolen by a white long-bed pickup truck. The trailer has “Cabessa Property Management” on the side.

Retail Theft / False ID / Underage Alcohol Possession – Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd
Defendant: Daniel Jodhan, 10/02/2007
Jodhan concealed two BuzzBallz in his backpack and attempted to exit without paying.
Capias Arrest – 1388 N. SR 7
Defendant: Ruben Trevino, 01/11/1975
Domestic Battery Arrest – NW 76th Ave
Defendant: Renanta Goss, 07/21/1980
Warrant Arrest – SW 7th Ct
Defendant: Jillian Simkovich, 06/01/1992
Defendant had active warrants for burglary with damage and criminal mischief.
Petit Theft / Trespass – Walmart, 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd
Defendant: Gerald Shanley, 12/13/1968
Arrested for petit theft (third offense) and trespass after warning.
Multiple Juvenile Arrests – Margate Fair, 1000 N. SR 7
Four juveniles were arrested following several fights inside and outside the fair. Charges included simple assault on LEO, resisting without violence, violation of probation (original charge: robbery with a firearm), and violation of imposed conditions.
Felony Criminal Mischief Arrest – 5424 W. Atlantic Blvd
Defendant: Lisa Fasciano, 08/17/1988
Smashed a business window with a metal ashtray.
Battery Domestic Violence Arrest – Atlantic Pho, 5408 W. Atlantic Blvd
Defendant: Bekmukhan Balmakh Tolepbergen, 07/04/1996
Defendant pushed the victim several times; incident was caught on surveillance.
Aggravated Assault & Domestic Battery Arrest – NW 23rd St
Defendant: Brian Miller, 11/13/1996
Miller threatened the victim with scissors, struck her, and tried to pull off her wedding ring.
Residential Burglary Arrest – Pinewalk Dr N, Pinebrook Point
Unknown subject entered through a rear patio window and stole jewelry from a closet safe. Investigation ongoing.
Domestic Battery Arrest – SW 11th Ct
Defendant: Edward Lewis, 07/04/1967
Domestic Battery Arrest – 5789 Margate Blvd
Defendant: Patrick McBride, 11/28/1996
Trespass After Warning Arrest – Wawa, 2000 N. SR 7
Defendant: Brianna Tillman, 10/09/1996
Robbery / Carjacking Attempt – 5401 W. Copans Rd
Defendant: Austin Ray Collier, 07/09/1993
Collier attempted to enter several vehicles, tearing off a door handle. He appeared heavily under the influence and was taken to the hospital while in custody.
Domestic Battery / VOP Arrest – NW 7th St
Defendant: Clifford Dexter, 06/13/1986
Dexter struck the victim and damaged her vehicle. The victim declined prosecution.
