City of Margate. {Aiden Palmer}
The Margate commission approved a maintenance agreement for the city’s ground storage tanks during the March 4 meeting.
A resolution was passed waiving formal bidding requirements and approving Crom Coatings and Restorations, a division of Crom, as the sole-source provider of inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification services, specifically to ensure the continued safe operation and structural integrity of the city’s prestressed composite concrete ground storage tanks.
The contract is valued at $204,700, according to backup information on the meeting agenda. In addition to this agreement,
The commission passed a resolution approving a license to maintain catch basin inlets with Oriole Condominium One Club, Inc. As a result, maintenance of catch-basin inlets adjacent to the Golf Circle Drive right-of-way will be provided.
