One might not be able to take the Stanley Cup home, but they can always take a player.
The Humane Society of Broward County has trophy cats named after the Florida Panthers, including Bennett, Barkov, Cousins, Stolarz, Bobrovsky, Verhaeghe, and others, waiting to skate into new homes.
These felines will become the champions of their adopters’ hearts.
In honor of South Florida’s home team winning the Stanley Cup, the Humane Society of Broward County is offering half-price adoption fees for all felines from Wednesday, June 26, to Sunday, June 30. This special offer represents more than a $60 savings on kitten adoptions and a $40 savings on felines over six months old.
The Humane Society of Broward County even has a cat room dedicated to the Florida Panthers, inviting the public to stop by and see it. All pets are spayed or neutered and microchipped before going home. Additionally, they receive preliminary vaccinations, a 14-day limited health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospitals, a bag of Purina One pet food, and more.
Open seven days a week, the HSBC is conveniently located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95.
Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information and to see pets available for adoption, visit www.humanebroward.com or call 954-989-3977, ext. 6.
