A 20-year-old man died in a vehicle crash in Margate on Dec. 22, according to police.
Brandon “Biggie” Guzman died from injuries he suffered in the crash, which happened in the 7o00 block of Royal Palm Boulevard.
Margate Police did not provide additional details about the incident.
Guzman was widely mourned by friends on social media. Several posted photos from what they said was a Dec. 23 candlelight vigil held for Guzman near the scene of the crash.
“He was a good man that was loved by many as tonight showed,” Holly Pereira wrote on Facebook. “RIP Biggie!”

According to an online obituary, visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, at Coral Springs Funeral Home, 1420 N. University Drive, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
