Elizabeth Joyce celebrated a century of life at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Margate on January 27.
A resident of Park Summit in Coral Springs, Joyce lives an active and vibrant life. She’s a book club member, enjoys music, and cherishes time spent with friends. Known for her zest for life and compassion for others, she inspires those around her.
As a devoted member of the St. Vincent Council of Catholic Women, Joyce finds joy in giving back. “I love being with people, and I like to continue learning. I enjoy movies and shows,” she shared.
Born just outside Pittsburgh, Joyce’s life journey took her to New Jersey and New York, where she worked as a secretary and office administrator. Widowed after only 18 months of marriage, she had no children but found fulfillment in her career and friendships.
Her caregiver and friend of 24 years, Paula Vroman, described Joyce as humble and deeply spiritual. “She is well-loved, and people enjoy being around her,” Vroman said.
Joyce’s milestone birthday was celebrated with a special lunch attended by family, friends, and second cousins who traveled from California to honor her remarkable life.
