Families interested in learning more about Cub Scouts will have another opportunity to discover what the program offers during an upcoming recruitment event in Margate.
Pack 836 will host an informational event Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. at Cokesbury Church, 1801 NW 65th Ave.
The event gives parents and children who missed a recent “Meet the Scouts” gathering another chance to learn about the organization, meet participants and find out how to get involved.
Open to boys and girls, Cub Scouts provides children with opportunities to develop new skills, make friends and participate in activities designed to encourage teamwork, responsibility and leadership.
