BrightStar Credit Union, HOT 105 Launch ‘Teach. Thank. Win.’ to Reward Local Teachers With Monthly $500 Prize

BrightStar Credit Union is partnering with HOT 105 FM to spotlight educators across South Florida through a new monthly campaign that rewards teachers who go above and beyond.

The initiative, titled “Teach. Thank. Win.,” invites community members to nominate a deserving teacher, or for educators to nominate themselves, for a chance to win a $500 Amazon gift card to support classroom supplies or school programs. One winner will be selected each month.

Nominations can be submitted through the HOT 105 mobile app or online here.

The campaign recently celebrated its first winner, Shawanna Taylor, an educator at Rock Island Elementary School. Taylor was surprised by the award at the radio station alongside a HOT 105 personality, marking the kickoff of the ongoing recognition effort.

Organizers say the program is designed to highlight educators’ dedication while providing tangible support for classroom needs, which are often funded out of teachers’ own pockets.
