Chris Guthrie and his father, Herman Goodrich, celebrated the new location of their business, C & H Auto Accessories, with a ribbon-cutting and party attended by friends and community leaders on October 25.
The business, founded in 2010, had to relocate to a smaller location due to COVID. After the pandemic, business improved, and Chris decided the company needed more space, so he moved to a 4,000-square-foot location at 1443 Banks Road in Margate.
C & H gets its name from its owners, Chris and Herman, and is a family-owned business. Chris was dissatisfied with his experience with another company and believed he could succeed in the auto accessory business. He approached his father for financial support, and they created the company. At age 87, Herman remains active in running the business.
“We do accessories for trucks, jeeps, SUVs, and cars. We will customize accessories to meet the needs of our customers,” said Chris, who is president of the South Florida Truck Club.
A graduate of Coconut Creek High School, Chris is proud to be from the local community. “We are a small business, and we want to serve the local community,” he said. “We have a YouTube channel, and we will ship customized accessories all over the nation and the world,” he said.

Commissioner Anthony Caggiano participated in the ribbon-cutting and said, “Small businesses like C & H are good for the community, and they create jobs.”
Representative Christine Hunschofsky attended and praised the owners. “Small businesses like this drive our economy. I wish them success,” she said.
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
