Administrator Locked out of WNID Website: Volunteer Steps Up to Recreate

The WNID website may be working, however, our administrator Karen Long has been locked out from updating it or making any changes.

Section 6 resident Glenn Dominguez, who set up the domain at www.WoodlandsDistrict.org and paid for the hosting, has changed the settings on the website preventing her from accessing all of her data including minutes and schedules.  Dominguez has been contacted many times but has not return emails.   The WNID has asked him to submit a bill for the hosting and domain fee, but he has not at this time.

Fortunately, Section 5 resident Reggie Freedman has volunteered to recreate the website.  This requires transferring all current data from the locked site over to a new domain.

Until the new website is running, I’m posting meeting information here so residents can stay in the loop.  All residents are invited to attend WNID meetings. In September, hopefully three more members will be appointed to the board, as two members are well past their term limits and another has resigned.  So far, three residents have submitted applications.  But talk is heading in the direction of turning the WNID over to the city with the board serving in an “advisory” capacity.  In that event, the city will be looking for representation from each section.  I’ll keep you posted on what transpires.

Regular WNID Meetings are always the 3^rd Thursday of each month at 7 PM.

(Public may sign up to speak at regular meetings. Limit is 3 minutes to speak)
