8th Annual WingsFest Returns to Margate June 14

WingsFest returns to Margate on Saturday, June 14, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Margate Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road.

The event will be hosted by Doc Reno of Big 105.9 and iHeartRadio. Restaurants and food trucks will compete for “the best chicken wings in South Florida,” according to the WingsFest website.

Live music will be provided by Mr. Nice Guy, Reaxtion Band, Low Ball, and School of Rock. Food trucks, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, and fun family activities will also be present.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit MyFamilyMattersFoundation.org. My Family Matters Foundation, together with Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital Foundation, provides financial assistance for families with children fighting cancer.
