The City of Margate Sounds at Sundown event returns on Saturday, March 1, with “Classic Rock Therapy.”
The March rendition of the popular Sounds of Sundown event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Margate Sports Complex at 1695 Banks Rd. It will feature live music performances and food truck offerings under the evening sky.
Based in Ft. Lauderdale, Classic Rock Therapy (CRT) started out in 2006 as five good friends getting together to jam and have turned into one of South Florida’s Ultimate Party bands. With frontman Mitch Lautman playing classic/current rock and dance music from the ’60s to today, it’s always a huge party with CRT. From Aerosmith to ZZ Top.
The event is open to the public, with free admission and parking.
Event-goers are encouraged to bring their blankets and chairs to create a cozy spot on the lawn, ensuring a comfortable experience as they dine and enjoy the show.
For event information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 954-972-6458.
