Kratos and Randy {Humane Society Broward County}
The Humane Society of Broward County has a variety of pets eagerly waiting to find their forever homes.
Among them are Kratos, a handsome and energetic dog, and Randy, an affectionate kitten. Both pets and many others are ready to bring joy and companionship to loving families.
Meet Kratos
Kratos is a strikingly handsome dog who resembles a chocolate Doberman Pinscher mix. With his long legs and graceful movements, he often gallops like a pony. However, shelter life is not suited to his energetic nature. Nearly two years old, Kratos can often be seen jumping high in his cage, reminiscent of a kangaroo. Once outside his kennel and given some exercise, he quickly calms down and shows off his playful side.
This lively dog enjoys playing fetch, displaying his tricks, and receiving plenty of affection. Kratos appears to be potty-trained and walks best with a proper harness. He is a high-energy dog, making him an ideal match for an active family that can keep him engaged. Kratos could be the perfect jogging companion for those looking to stay active.
Kratos has mastered basic commands such as sit, down, and paw and is highly motivated by treats, making further training a breeze. While he previously lived with a small dog, it is recommended to arrange a dog meet, as he can be vocal and bark at other dogs. Kratos is eager to please and longs for a family to love.
Introducing Randy
If you are looking for a kitten to snuggle with, the shelter has several adorable lovebugs to choose from. Among them is Randy, a 9-week-old tiger kitten who weighs 2 ½ pounds. Randy is a purring machine and loves to be held, often perching on your shoulder like a bird. He currently resides in one of the community cat rooms, along with ten other kittens, and is usually the first to greet visitors at the door.
