The Florida Supervisors of Elections Association is offering three $1,200 scholarships to college students pursuing degrees in Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Journalism/Mass Communication.
Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott stated that the scholarships highlight the association’s commitment to education and civic engagement.
To qualify, applicants must be registered Florida voters who have lived in the state for at least two years. They must have attained junior standing, be enrolled or accepted as full-time students at a Florida senior college or university, and have maintained at least a “C” average in the previous academic year.
The deadline to apply is March 7, 2025. Applications are available at BrowardVotes.gov or at the Supervisor of Elections Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.
Completed applications must be submitted to the elections office in the applicant’s county of voter registration, where one finalist will be selected for consideration by the FSE Scholarship Committee.
