Margate Winter Festival {David Volz}
Margate families gathered at the Winter Festival at the Sports Complex for some fun on the evening of December 19.
There were many activities at the winter-themed event, including snow areas where children could enjoy snowball fights, a sledding slide, bounce houses, and more. Families could enjoy dinner from food trucks, and the VAM Band provided music.
“This is a happy place, and people are having fun. There is something here for everyone to enjoy,” said Vice Mayor Anthony Caggiano.
Nina Culver came dressed as Mrs. Claus and gave toys to children. “I like being here, and I want to help children have a good Christmas,” she said.
