The American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Class will be held at Margate’s Calypso Cove from June 4–6, offering a vital opportunity for individuals 15 and older to become certified instructors.
This blended learning program requires registrants to complete an online portion before the first in-person session. The class link will be emailed to participants one week in advance.
Classes will be held in the Indoor Party Room at Calypso Cove, 6200 Royal Palm Boulevard in Margate. The schedule is as follows:
- June 4: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- June 5: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- June 6: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
To receive certification, all four components of the course must be completed, including the online portion and full attendance at each class day.
The program costs $200, and space is limited to six participants. Registration is open now through June 1 at 10 a.m.
An account is required to register, and participants must be at least 15 years old.
