Nakama Sushi Thai Restaurant had its grand opening on May 1st in Margate.
Margate community leaders, including Mayor Tommy Ruzzano and commission members, participated in the celebration and sampled some food.
According to Aunchisa and Michael Arkhabut, they are working hard to make it successful. They are originally from Thailand and have dreamed of owning and operating a restaurant.
“We specialize in high-quality sushi, and we prepare it just as it is prepared in Thailand,” said Aunchisa. “We want to have a good restaurant in Margate.”
Mayor Tommy Ruzzano is excited about the restaurant: “I have eaten their sushi, and it is very good. It is a restaurant I like to eat at, and I hope they are successful.”
Vice Mayor Arlene Schwartz participated in the grand opening and liked the food she sampled. “It is a very nice restaurant, and I liked the food I sampled, especially the shrimp dishes. This restaurant will be good for the area.”
Nakama Sushi Thai is located at 5458 West Sample Road, Margate, and offers a wide range of sushi dinners, soups, and appetizers.
