Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through May 14, 2022.

Aggravated Assault

A 21-year-old female was the victim of an Aggravated Battery on 05/13/2022.

Auto Theft

NW 64th Ter.

A 30-year-old female was the victim of Auto Theft – Other on 05/13/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $230.

Battery

Banks Rd.

A 21-year-old female was the victim of Battery on 05/16/2022.

Child Neglect

Lakeside Dr.

An 11-year-old female was the victim of Child Neglect on 05/16/2022.

Elderly Abuse

NW 51st Ter.

An incident of Elderly Abuse/Neglect was reported on 5/16/2022.

Fraud

NW 23rd St.

A 47-year-old male was the victim of Fraud-All Other on 05/10/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,900.

NW 17th Ct.

A 69-year-old female was the victim of Fraud-All Other on 05/12/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $10,000.

Arrests

Upper, Stephen Michael, 32, was arrested on charges of Possession Of Cocaine on W Atlantic Blvd on 05/10/2022.

Burroughs, Vernon Tyrone, 33, was arrested on charges of Possess Counterfeited Motor Vehicle Identification Number Plates on W Atlantic Blvd on 05/11/2022.

Medina, Chaz Adam, 28, was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 1st Offense on W Sample Rd on 05/11/2022.

Cadavid, Jasmin Isabel, 32, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on W Atlantic Blvd on 05/11/2022.

Niziolek, Brian, 35, was arrested on charges of Resist Officer-obstruct Wo Violence on Seton Dr on 05/12/2022.

Arnold, Robert Joseph, 27, was arrested on charges of Aggrav Battery-offender Knew/Should Have Known Victim was Pregnant on Sw 11th St on 05/13/2022.

Rodriguez, Giovanna Corina, 37, was arrested on battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence charges on SW 55th Ave on 05/13/2022.

Stenor, Hervens, 21, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm- Dating Battery-cause Violence on Banks Rd on 05/16/2022.
