Margate Crime update by Margate Talk

The Margate Police Department responded to a variety of incidents and made multiple arrests between July 15 and 21, 2025.

Battery / Domestic Incidents:

Battery – Dating Violence at Lakeside Dr.
Defendant: Shneider Youte, DOB 05/14/2006, B/M. Turned over to BSO.

Domestic Battery at Ocean Dr.
Suspect: Tianna Grant, B/F, DOB 02/01/1997. The subject was GOA. NIC filed.

Domestic Violence Arrest at SW 74th Terrace.
The subject pushed the victim after demanding money.

Domestic Violence Arrest at E. River Dr.
Defendant: Tyona Jackson, B/F. During an altercation with a cohabitant, the victim was struck in the face twice. Turned over to BSO.

Domestic Battery (Victim Over 65) at Coral Lake Dr.
Defendant: Anthony Matthew Czarnowski, W/M, DOB 02/22/1967. Pushed victim, causing a fall and head injury. Victim and witness statements obtained. TOT BSO.

Battery – Domestic Violence at SW 5th Street.
Defendant: Sterling Coney. Allegedly threw a vape pen that struck a cohabitant in the face, causing a cut. Arrested by Hollywood PD and turned over to BSO.

Stalking (Domestic) at 900 block of S. SR 7.
Defendant: Virgilio Alejandre, W/M, DOB 06/09/1978. TOT BSO.

Theft / Burglary / Property Crimes:

Stolen Vehicle Arrest at Atlantic Blvd. & N. SR 7.
Defendant: Christopher Martin, W/M, DOB 07/17/1981. Charged with grand theft of motor vehicle, VOP, DWLS revoked, burglary, and held with no bond.

Grand Theft Auto at NW 24th Ct.
A silver 2021 Infiniti QX80 was stolen from a driveway overnight. Vehicle has a Texas A&M emblem near license plate.

Petit Theft and Drug Possession Arrest at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Defendant: Darryl Hilton. Concealed items in backpack. Search located pills and cocaine.

Failure to Return Rental Vehicle at 613 S SR 7.
Defendant: Martin Mathew. Confessed to not paying for a rented 2024 Nissan.

Attempted Burglary Arrests at Carolina Golf Club, 3011 Rock Island Rd.
Defendants: Juan Galego, W/M, DOB 11/24/2009, and Andrew Parker, W/M, DOB 08/03/2010. Found with burglary tools, observed attempting to enter rear windows.

Theft at 3435 Pinewalk Drive N.
Victim accidentally left a black iPhone 14 on top of vehicle. It was missing upon return.

Narcotics and Drug-Related Arrests:

Possession of Cocaine Arrest at 1500 N SR 7.
Defendant: Kevin Banning, W/M, DOB 01/12/1968. Charged with possession of cocaine and bicycle light violation.

Warrant and Theft Arrest at 1550 N SR 7.
Defendant: Joel E. Pizarro, B/M, DOB 05/27/1996. Observed stealing beer from Wawa; had an active felony warrant for VOP.

Narcotics Arrest at 1200 N SR 7.
Defendant: Danielle Lariviere, B/F, DOB 09/12/1998. Vehicle search revealed 123.2g of cannabis packaged for sale, scale, and empty packaging. Charged with possession with intent to sell.

Other Arrests:

Aggravated Assault / Warrant Arrest near MD Now, S. Bay Dr. & NW 62nd Ave.
Defendant: Lorenzo Coleman, B/M, DOB 07/22/1967. Suspect in aggravated assault on county bus. Found hiding in bushes, arrested for violation of pretrial conditions. Victim declined prosecution.

Fraud – Criminal Use of Personal ID at TD Bank, 490 N. SR 7.
Defendant: Kristopher Roney, B/M, DOB 10/21/1989. TOT BSO.

Lewd Exhibition & Child Abuse Arrest at Banks Road.
Defendant: Tateana Francis, B/F, DOB 11/20/1994.

Criminal Mischief / Warrant Arrest at 6504 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Defendant: Yamaris Gomez, DOB 02/25/1989. Identified via surveillance, found to have active warrants. Arrested and booked at Broward County Main Jail.
