The Margate Police Department responded to a variety of incidents and made multiple arrests between July 8 and 14, 2025.
Trespassing
4998 W. Atlantic Blvd. (7-Eleven)
Kyle Larkins, 40, was arrested for trespass after warning after returning to 7-Eleven and causing a disturbance, despite being trespassed earlier that same day. He refused to leave and was transported to Northwest Medical Center.
Domestic Violence
N. Lakewood Circle
Rick Turner, 40, was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly grabbing the victim by both forearms, leaving marks, and throwing her to the ground.
SW 6th St.
Chrishondra Jones, 26, was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly grabbing a phone out of the victim’s hand during a verbal dispute. She was turned over to BSO.
SW 1st St.
Joseph Dulmarson, 34, was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly striking the victim with a closed fist in the back of her head and shoulder during an argument about her new phone. He was transported to the BSO Main Jail.
E. Sable Circle
Vernon Marquis, 39, was accused of violating a protection order and committing domestic battery after showing up at the victim’s residence, engaging in a physical altercation, and fleeing before officers arrived. A warrant was issued.
Theft & Burglary
Crestwood Terrace
Officers responded to an attempted vehicle burglary at 3:45 a.m. Three suspects wearing gloves approached a black Honda Accord and tried to punch the driver-side lock. No entry was made.
2551 Rock Island Road
A purple 2019 Dodge Charger was stolen after its rear passenger window was smashed. The victim saw the car leaving the parking lot, possibly followed by a white four-door sedan.
5000 Coconut Creek Pkwy (Dollar General)
An unidentified woman stole 16 items valued at $210.83 after her card was declined. She left the store, pushing a yellow cart, heading north.
Weapons Offense
432 Lakeside Dr. S
Joshua Jean Baptiste, 16, was arrested after officers responded to a report of shots fired into a lake. He was found in possession of a stolen firearm and positively identified by a witness. He faces charges of carrying a concealed firearm, grand theft of a firearm, and unlawful discharge of a firearm. (7/13)
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
499 N. State Road 7
Officers recovered a black Mini Cooper reported stolen out of Pompano Beach. The driver, Tommy Lee Collins, 35, allegedly failed to return the vehicle to the owner and was turned over to BSO.
Arrest on Warrant
7700 Southgate Blvd.
Raheem Campbell, 23, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for driving while his license was suspended. Bond was set at $2,000.
