Felony Criminal Mischief
Sept. 3, overnight – Dunkin’ Donuts, 5000 W. Atlantic Blvd.
The manager discovered the glass on the drive-through menu board had been shattered. The estimated repair cost is $10,000. The business desires prosecution.
Petit Theft
Sept. 3, 7:52 a.m. – Dunkin’ Donuts, 5000 W. Atlantic Blvd.
An unidentified Black male stole approximately $20 from a tip jar before fleeing westbound on foot. He was described as possibly homeless, wearing a light green shirt and gray shorts, with short or balding hair.
Theft
Sept. 3 – 5000 Coconut Creek Pkwy, Hollywood Institute Beauty School
A victim reported leaving a brown Michael Kors wallet containing debit/credit cards, $200 cash, and identification documents on a classroom table.
Criminal Mischief
Sept. 3 – NW 34th St.
Reported property damage.
Retail Theft (delayed)
Sept. 3 – Marshalls, 5461 W. Atlantic Blvd.
A Black male concealed clothing and five pairs of shoes valued at $124.93 inside a handbag. After being confronted by loss prevention, he dropped the bag and fled eastbound on foot. The merchandise was recovered.

Pinewalk Dr. N. – A defendant was arrested for pulling a victim’s hair and refusing lawful orders.
Trespass After Warning
7866 W. Sample Rd. – During Homeless Outreach, a defendant was found sleeping on property after being previously trespassed. Arrested and turned over to BSO.
Battery
5431 NW 15th St. – Miguel Ruiz, W/M, 9/4/70, allegedly pushed and punched a victim during a dispute over a plastic knife. Misdemeanor case filings submitted.
Warrant Arrest
6300 SW 7th St. – Marlon Calderon, W/M, 1/4/65, arrested for failure to appear.
Theft of Firearm
349 Banks Rd. – Charles McCleod, B/M, 8/7/06, was found in possession of a firearm reported stolen from Miami Beach during a traffic stop.
Theft & Resisting Without Violence
Wawa, 2000 N. SR 7 – Giancarlo Gonzalez, W/M, 9/21/97, arrested.
Narcotics Arrest
200 N. SR 7 – Mary Gomes, 9/19/67, arrested after cocaine was found during a traffic stop.
DUI, DUI Refusal, Speeding >50 mph Over Limit
150 S. SR 7 – Malcolm Sylvester arrested on the above charges.
Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
W. Atlantic Blvd. & N. SR 7 – D’yon Harding, B/M, 8/19/99, arrested following a road rage altercation where a firearm was displayed. Felony stop conducted with BSO assistance in Tamarac.
DUI & Possession of Cannabis with Intent
6100 W. Atlantic Blvd. – Olivia Detata, W/F, 2/1/00, arrested after being found asleep behind the wheel. Officers recovered 1,045 grams of cannabis.
Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon (Domestic Violence)
S. SR 7 – Deontasia Heath, B/F, 7/1/99, arrested after striking the victim with a metal rod, causing lacerations.
Domestic Violence (Dating)
5442 W. Atlantic Blvd. – Michael Shea, W/M, 7/20/63, arrested.
Capias Arrest (Failure to Pay Child Support)
200 S. SR 7 – Jesus Paez, H/M, 6/10/91, arrested.
Capias Arrest (Flee and Elude)
7150 W. Atlantic Blvd. – Rafael Mercado, W/M, 11/17/79, arrested on no-bond capias.
DUI Arrest
6500 W. Atlantic Blvd. – John Guerrero, H/M, 9/9/02, arrested.
Trespass After Warning
2402–2534 N. SR 7 – David Baldwin, W/M, 8/28/62, arrested after multiple prior trespass warnings. Medically cleared at HCA Florida NW Hospital.
