The dogs of Margate will have an event just for them on Saturday morning, November 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at Firefighters Park.
The city is introducing its first-ever free Bark in the Park for residents and their dogs. Those who come will enjoy various activities, including local pet vendors, the chance to meet veterinarians to ask questions, and the opportunity to meet lovable rescue dogs available for adoption. There will be a 3D dog photo booth, a caricature artist, and other fun activities, according to Lisa Huriash, public information officer.
Bark in the Park is an opportunity for dogs and their owners to socialize and have fun together. Dogs must be leashed during the event, even within the dog park area, according to Huriash. Firefighters Park is located at 2500 Rock Island Road.
