Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will open its School Choice Late Application Window for the 2025–26 academic year on Monday, April 7, 2025.
The window will remain open through August 22, giving families a second opportunity to apply for reassignments and magnet programs at schools with available seats.
Applications can be submitted online at browardschools.com/schoolchoice. The late window follows the main School Choice enrollment period earlier in the school year.
In addition to available seats at traditional reassignment and magnet schools, the district is also accepting applications for the following options:
- Nova Blanche Forman Elementary and Nova Eisenhower Elementary
- Newly reconfigured K–8 schools: Coconut Creek K–8, Silver Shores K–8, Coral Cove K–8, and Hollywood Central K–8 (K–6th grade seats available)
- Pines 6–12 Collegiate Academy, formerly Pines Middle School (6th–9th grade seats available)
- Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which was not an option during the initial application period
BCPS highlights its commitment to offering innovative and personalized programs designed to match students’ interests and prepare them for college and careers.
Families are encouraged to monitor their email for seat award notifications, which will begin rolling out the week of April 28 and continue through August. Only applicants who receive placement will be notified.
