Jah Steve & The Counteract Crew is playing a free outdoor concert at Sabal Pines Park in Coconut Creek.
Held on Friday, October 21, from 7 to 9 p.m., the concert is for all ages, and blankets, chairs, and coolers are welcome.
Jah Steve & The Counteract Crew is a roots reggae band mixing old-school reggae sound with current socially aware lyrics. The band is headlined by Steve McGowan and backed by Doron Clarence, Basil “Benbow” Creary, Benjamin “Bennie” Jackson, and Jadon Clarence.
Sabal Pines Park is located at 5005 NW 39th Ave. In case of inclement weather, check the city’s social media or call 954-545-6600. For the safety of pets, the city of Coconut Creek asks residents to please keep them at home.
