City of Margate Honors Holiday Decorating Contest Winners

The Margate 2024 holiday decorating contest winners were honored during the January 22 commission meeting.

Randal Viggiani and Beverly Rose earned first place at 375 Kathy Lane. Eric and Elena Eacker at 7665 NW 22nd Street earned second place, and Brandon Richards at 761 SW 54th Avenue earned third place.

The first-place winners were the only residents who participated in the ceremony.

Their creation included a sea creature area, a skating rink, a Santa Claus section, and extensive lighting throughout the property.

“It was a good feeling to win first place, and we are going to work even harder next year,” said Viggiani.
