Support local veterans and children in need at a fun-filled Caribbean night and toy drive.
The Caribbean night and toy drive is on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 5 to 10 p.m., at AMVETS Post 1939, located at 1448 State Road 7.
AMVETS is a non-partisan, volunteer-led veterans service organization that represents the interest of veterans nationwide.
Caribbean-themed dinner is available with a $10 donation or free if you sign up for a $35 social membership with the club. An unwrapped toy donation is also recommended to bring for the toy drive. Live entertainment will also be at the event.
All money spent at the event will be donated to AMVETS, and toys donated will be donated to children in need.
