This Thanksgiving weekend, the Humane Society of Broward County invites you to find your newest family member during their annual Black Furrday Adoption Event. On Friday, November 29, and Saturday, November 30, select pets will have their adoption fees waived, and adoption fees for animals aged one year and older will be half-price.
Among the many animals waiting for loving homes are two special friends: Quincy and Lilly.
Looking for a snuggle buddy? Quincy, a 3-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart, is ready to steal your heart. After struggling to find a home at another shelter, Quincy has made his way to Broward County, hoping for a fresh start.
This “cool dude” is praised for his leash manners and calm demeanor, even when surrounded by barking dogs. But Quincy’s favorite thing in the world? Belly rubs! If you’re ready for unconditional love and plenty of cuddle sessions, Quincy could be the perfect addition to your family. His ID is 691353.
For those seeking a gentle and graceful companion, Lilly is a 1-year-old beauty waiting to find her forever home. Due to her previous family having too many pets, Lilly now resides at the shelter, where she’s adjusting to new surroundings.
While shy at first, Lilly blossoms with time and care. Described as friendly and playful, she loves fluffy pillows, toys, and the company of other pets. In her previous home, Lilly lived harmoniously with several cats and two dogs. She’s ready to bring her quiet charm to a home that will give her the love and patience she deserves. Lilly’s ID is 691341.
