Aspiring young entrepreneurs and coders are invited to the Tamarac Branch Library for an educational event “Build a Startup in a Day Hack-a-Thon.”
The event is part of the ongoing teen program and promises to merge high tech and entrepreneurship training. At the event, children and teens will learn basic coding and how to pitch, model and convert their ideas into a start-up.
The program is free of charge, and lunch will be provided.
The event takes place on Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Tamarac Computer Center.
Registration is required, as there are limited spots available. Call 954-765-1500 or register in person at the Tamarac Library Information Desk.
