Country Club Sale

I just received an update from Country Club President Larry Torn who said that the Country Club is still in negotiations for the upcoming sale.  Negotiations are going well and should be completed shortly.  Equitable members will be contacted to vote when they receive a final contract.

Meeting with Historical Preservationists

Two weeks ago, several residents of the Woodlands met with Broward County Preservationist, David Baber, and City of Fort Lauderdale Historic Preservation Board  Chair, Susan McClellan, who is also a registered architect.   Residents wanted to introduce them to our community to see if they would be interested in creating a historical district in the Woodlands. The representatives were impressed with the architecture in the Woodlands and want to give homeowners more information regarding historical districts.  We are anticipating having them meet with our WHOA soon to present more information to them.
