Two adorable pets, Buddy and Lego, are eagerly awaiting to find their new families at the Humane Society of Broward County.
Two-year-old Buddy is searching for a new home after his previous owner faced health issues and found it challenging to keep up with his vibrant and outgoing personality.
Despite his youth, Buddy is already potty-trained, attentive, and loves cuddling. He responds well to basic commands, especially when enticed with treats and enjoys snuggling on the couch.
While his interaction with children remains untested, he reportedly shows no interest in cats and is amicable towards other dogs, though a formal introduction is recommended.
In a similar plight, another two-year-old named Lego Batman—affectionately called “LB”—is also looking for a new family due to allergies developed by someone in his previous home.
LB is described as observant and curious, comfortable with being held until he decides it’s time to wriggle free. Known for his affectionate nature, LB is particularly good with children, enjoys playing with toys, and is a favorite among shelter volunteers for his sweet demeanor and love of attention.
Those interested in adopting Buddy, LB, or any other pet can visit www.humanebroward.com to complete a pre-adoption application.
Additionally, the shelter’s vaccine clinic is operational six days a week. Visitors can check the website for specific hours and available vaccine information.
The shelter, located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312, is open seven days a week, with adoption kennels opening daily at 11 a.m. Appointments are not required. For inquiries, interested individuals can contact the shelter at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.
These pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive preliminary vaccinations, 14 days of limited health care from VCA Animal Hospitals, a bag of Purina One pet food, and more upon adoption.
