The Margate Sports Complex in the City of Margate is set to host an exciting celebration of diversity and creativity with the upcoming International Day Festival on April 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The festival will feature vendors from all over the world showcasing and selling their unique arts and crafts creations. The exhibit space includes a 6-foot table and two chairs under the covered Sports Complex, and the set-up time for vendors is between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the day of the festival.
But the festival offers much more than just a showcase of international arts and crafts. Festival-goers will have the chance to win amazing prizes through raffles held throughout the event. The giveaways include two airline tickets to Israel, a 50-inch smart TV, a karaoke machine, $100 dining certificates for Jasmine Thai, or $25 ACE Hardware gift certificates.
The Margate’s International Day Festival has also arranged a special raffle for Margate residents who take a selfie at the El Al photo booth during the event. The lucky resident will receive two airline tickets to a destination of their choice.
Aside from the exciting raffles, the festival will also feature free international entertainment and worldwide cuisine from food trucks. Vendors from countries like Colombia, Jamaica, Haiti, Ecuador, Tibet, Japan, and more will be selling unique handmade items like artisan clay pottery, natural fiber home goods, fabric art, and paint exhibits, gemstones and minerals, handmade jewelry, henna products, bonsai trees, and more.
The festival is made possible thanks to the sponsors like Broward Meat And Fish, ELAL, ChenMedFamily, Donna’s Caribbean Restaurant, community medical group, Cigna, Mexican and Spanish Margate, Galuma Tires & Wheels, Jasmine Thai and Sushi, and Humana.
