Temple Beth Am, a cornerstone of Conservative Judaism in Northwest Broward County, is excited to announce an Open House event taking place on Sunday, August 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The synagogue, known for its vibrant and inclusive community, invites everyone from Coral Springs, Parkland, Boca Raton, Margate, Tamarac, and Coconut Creek to discover what makes Temple Beth Am a spiritual home for so many.
Founded in 1959, Temple Beth Am has long been dedicated to fostering a Kehillah Kedosha, a sacred and caring community. As an egalitarian Conservative synagogue, Temple Beth Am prides itself on creating a welcoming atmosphere where Jewish traditions and Torah are celebrated. The congregation offers a rich tapestry of spiritual, cultural, and educational experiences, catering to individuals and families of all backgrounds, including interfaith and same-sex marriages.
The Open House will provide an opportunity for prospective members and community members to meet Rabbi Goldsmith and other key synagogue leaders, including members of the board. The education committee will be on hand to share details about the synagogue’s Sunday Only Accelerated Religious School, or SOARS, which offers an engaging and condensed curriculum designed to meet the needs of today’s busy families.
In addition to learning about the educational opportunities, attendees will have a chance to connect with representatives from Temple Beth Am’s Sisterhood, who will discuss their upcoming events, and The Men’s Club will also be present, capping off the event with a “Back to Shul” BBQ immediately following the Open House.
Temple Beth Am invites anyone interested in learning more about their community to attend this informative and enjoyable event. The synagogue is located at 7205 Royal Palm Blvd., Margate, FL 33063.
