Shadow, and sisters Lulu and Daisy {Humane Society of Broward County}
By Sharon Aron Baron
This week, the Humane Society of Broward County has some wonderful pets to choose from. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, flea and tick treatment, and much more.
Shadow
Shadow’s (ID A659338) family had no time for him, and now he is sitting at the shelter waiting for someone to notice him.
He appears to be part cattle dog mix who knows basic commands and, according to shelter staff, is “super smart.”
Shadow is good with other dogs, cats, and kids ages 12 and up. He will do best with an active family who wants to do things with him, even agility training, if you explore that.
Lulu and Daisy
Lulu and Daisy are two-year-old Guinea pig siblings —- a bonded pair looking for a home where they can stay together.
Guinea pigs (also known as cavies) are curious, like to explore, and don’t mind being held. Like all Guinea pigs, they require a diet of fresh greens and Timothy hay. They’ll need plenty of exercise to stretch their little legs daily. Adopt two Guinea pigs —or two rabbits —and pay only one adoption fee.
